It is an option that you can try out in the privacy of your homes, as it is very simple and quite effective. With minerals like magnesium, zinc, potassium and iodine, it is a perfect option when you want to ‘polish' your skin while eliminating its toxins and increasing the blood circulation.

Here are a few methods that you may try for treating the skin with sea salts .

Skin Rub: Mix six cups of water with some water and almond oil, and make a grainy scrub out of it. On a wet body apply generously and rub in circular motion to exfoliate, and vertical motion to remove the dry skin. You can also apply this on a loofah and continue scrubbing. It will leave your skin feeling fresh and soft.

Sea Salt Face Scrub: Take raw sea salt and on a wet face, apply it with the tip of your fingers. Rub very gently in circular motion avoiding the eyes. Concentrate on your cheeks and the t-zone. Let the salts penetrate into the skin. This scrub is really mild so can be used daily.

Sea Salt Detoxifier: Since sea salts eliminated the toxins from the body, make a paste of it along with water. Apply on the skin and leave it for sometime on the body, letting it absorb the mixture. Rinse well with water to give way to a cleansed body.

Apricot Kernel and Sea Salt Body Scrub:  This is a great way of exfoliating the skin on the body while regenerating it. For this, take two cups of sea salt (coarse) and half a cup of apricot kernel oil.

This oil is rich in vitamins and natural emollients. With a washcloth, apply the same on the body in gentle motion. With a firm palm of your hand, apply on the skin and rub gently. Wash it off with warm water and mild soap, to seal in the moisture . Your skin will feel fresh and supple after this treatment.
